and once again new news 

well I have to tell you that I'll cancel the map contest. The reason is pretty simple... not enough participants. I just got 3 maps till now and so it would been useless to go on with the contest. I'm sorry for the guys who wanted to take place at the contest with their nice maps, but I'm sure that your maps will find a way to the server (of course if you want.).

Whatever, also with a canceled map contest I have something good to say. Sprut would get a new server for XIII - a XIII tourny/CW server. That means that I'll organise another tournament (which wont fail^^) for you guys. I'll give you more informations on sunday or at the begin of the next week.

Well, short story: Both Shinja and Dot has told me they want out of the clan, they do not have the time for us right now and they felt it would be best if they signed off right now.

We ofcourse hope they will visit us again later on and i thank them for the time they've been here!

And in other news, WAPPIE will be joining Xzibit as a maptester from now on!

Hey guys,

we decided to organise a new mapcontest.
First of all I (Biernot) want to tell you how the contest is going. You're able to create three maps if you want  :arrow:  one DD map, one "oldschool" DM map and one speed DM map. It's not allowed to create more then one map for the same category, so for example you cant create two or three DD maps.
You have three weeks to create the map(s), so from the 16.08.2010 until the 05.09.2010. Maps which getting uploaded later that day, wont take place at the tournament.
That was the first part of the mapcontest, the second part is to vote for the winners.
There are three categories for you where you guys are able to vote. DD maps, oldschool DM maps and Speed DM maps, furthermore we have also a "real" jury with 6 XIII members, which will also vote. The votes of all players count 50% and the other 50% comes from the jury. Btw, the votings start at the 06.09.2010 and will end at the 26.09.2010.
I created a XIII youtube channel (no, fear, the channel is unfinished atm and will be designed later that week), where we'll upload a video of each map, so you're able to watch the map on youtube if you didnt play a map at the server. You can make your own video (and send to me or Driver76) or just send the map to me or driver, so we'll record the map then.
So well, that's it. I guess^^

Rules:
1. RCG are not allowed!

2. Loops are not allowed in "oldschool" DM maps or DD maps!

3. "Feat." maps are allowed, should the map win the contest, then you have to devide the winnerprize

4. Your are allowed to upload one oldschool DM map, one speed DM map and one DD. If you're changing your name and upload again a new map, then you're getting disqualified from the contest.

5. Upload the maps like this: Contest - "mapname" - "author" (with out " ) (better to say, send a contest map to Biernot or Driver76)

6. Dont upload old maps wich are already on the server

7. Make a video of the map and send it to Driver76 or me then, otherwise we would like to make a video of your map. We will upload it on our youtube channel

8. Dont upload or fake maps from other players!

9. It should been possible to get the Hunter in 6 minutes!

10. The maximum map time is 10 minutes!

11. XIII Jury members are not able to take place at the contest
